5. Repairs
5.1 Introduction
Actions to be taken in order to repair malfunctions are stated in the Repair section of the
malfunction list. Highlighted repairs may be preformed only at authorized service centers.
5.2 Malfunctions
Sheep shearing head
Please, contact the authorized service center for malfunctions not listed
in this manual.
MALFUNCTION POSSIBLE CAUSE REPAIR
The clipping blade is not moving
along the entire moving surface
Tension connection broken Replace the tension connection
Lever shaft and/or lever roller
and/or swiveling fork are worn.
Replace the lever shaft and/or
lever roller and/or swiveling fork
Bearings extremely worn Replace the bearings
The clipping blade is not moving Defective gear, black (Figure 1,
Item 8).
Replace the gear
Defective reduction gear in the
motor unit
Replace the reduction gear
Lever shaft broken or bent Replace the lever shaft
Lever roller is missing Replace the lever roller
Locknut looses by itself
Tension spring is missing (Figure
1, Item 4)
Replace the tension spring and
adjust so that the locknut is
easily rotated when tightened but
shows resistance in the release
direction.
Loose cap Use the adhesive to glue the cap.
Insufficient pressure on the
clipping blade
Tension connection broken Replace the tension spring
Adjusting know is missing (Figure
1, Item 6).
Adjusting knob is worn (Figure 1,
Item 6).
Replace the adjusting knob
Replace the adjusting knob
Swiveling fork is worn at the top Replace the swiveling fork
Pressure clamp is worn (Figure 1,
Item 2)
Replace the pressure clamp
