6. STORAGE

The lifejacket should be stored in a dry place, possibly
suspended on a hanger in a closet. Unintended inflation
may occur due to a combination of moisture and
vibration. Annual service can reduce the risk of
unintended inflation.

7.

APPLICATIONS AND LIMITATIONS

The lifejacket has been tested in water temperatures
ranging from 0°C to -30°C. At water temperatures below
zero, automatic inflation may be delayed. If so, release
it manually.

Do not ever wear any clothing over VIKING SOLAS 90N.
If worn together with an immersion suit or any special
clothing such as sailors’ wear with buoyancy, the
functioning of the lifejacket may be affected.

Please note that a lifejacket fitted with Hammar inflators
only inflates automatically when immersed into water
deeper than 10 cm.
