Measure the air flow rate (observe
the instructions of the test equip-
ment manufacturer).
Note
Use a measuring funnel in ventila-
tion air and extract air apertures, in
the cross-section of which the air
velocity or air flow rate is measured
with an impeller air speed meter.
Where a measuring funnel cannot
be used, for example in larger ven-
tilation air or extract air apertures
(such as in floor outlets) - carry out
several measurements over an
area and calculate an average
value.

Record the actual value in the com-
missioning report.
Air flow rate curves
1.
Using the actual air velocity, check
the air flow rates from the curve
diagrams.

Record the actual values in the
commissioning report.
