Note
The boiler's gas and air connections should be free of
load and torque stress.
1.
Knock out the perforated panel in the left or right
side panel.
2.
Route the gas line through the aperture in the side
panel.
Note
If making the gas connection on the right-hand
side: Route the gas pipe behind the burner intake
extension.
3.
Connect the gas supply according to TRGI 2008
[or local regulations].
AT: Connect the gas supply according to ÖVGW-
TR Gas 1996 and the regionally applicable
Building Regulations.
CH: Connect the gas supply according to SVGW.
Gas connection: R 2
Note
The [German] Combustion Order stipulates that
thermally activated shut-off equipment must be
installed in the gas line. If the gas line is contami-
nated (e.g. old pipes with corrosion products), we
recommend installing a gas filter in the supply line.
Max. permiss. gas supply pressure: 100 mbar
(10 kPa)
4.
Carry out a tightness test.
!
Please note
Excessive test pressure will damage the
burner and gas train.
Max. test pressure 150 mbar/15 kPa
. If a
higher pressure is required for tightness
tests, disconnect the burner and gas train
from the main supply pipe (undo the fitting).
5.
Purge the gas line to the outside.
Danger
Escaping gas can lead to explosions which
may result in serious injury.
Never purge the gas line through the boiler
combustion chamber.
