The FeaturePhone has three different microphones to record from. See §
10.3.10 for details.
4.8 Microphone mode
The FeaturePhone 175 has two separate microphones.
The Handset microphone,
and the speakerphone microphone.
The FeaturePhone 175 has another separate microphone conection that is
associated with the option to connect a headset. It is also possible to
connect a table top microphone to the headset microphone port.
In the settings of the FeaturePhone 175 the different microphones can be
selected to record from. This setting has consequences for the microphone
recordings and the recording of the welcome and notification messages.
The microphone mode is set in §10.3.10.
4.9 Automatic Gain Control
Automatic Gain Control adjusts the recording level of the local and remote
voice to attain similar audio levels during playback of the recording. In
normal use with a standard telephone line the Automatic Gain Control should
not be necessary. Automatic Gain Control is set in §10.3.12
