Connection of alarm contacts, auxiliary contact and VCR Trigger
The connection of alarm contacts, auxiliary contact and VCR Trigger must be carried out on the ALARM 15-pole
connector, placed at the rear of the mechanics.
Connection of alarm contacts
The SW42REM/SW82REM sequential switcher allows each video input to be associated with an alarm contact.
Where to operate : Pin 1..9 of ALARM connector
Settings : connect each alarm contact between Pin 9 (Alarm common) and a Pin from 1 to 8 corresponding to the input
desired.

WARNING! Do not energize the alarm contacts.
Connection of the auxiliary contact
The SW42REM/SW82REM sequential switcher allows the control of an auxiliary contact which is activated in case of
alarm.
Where to operate : Pin 12, 13 of ALARM connector
Settings :

Normally open contacts (NO) : connect between Pin 12 (Relay common) and Pin 13
Pin Connection to perform
12 Relay common contact
13 NO relay contact
Connection of VCR Trigger
Pin 10 of ALARM connector functions as input for TTL or open collector signals. It is possible to connect to this
Pin the Trigger signal from VCR or alternatively a signal for the sequential switcher external reset. Trigger or reset
signal is seen on the descent front.
Where to operate : Pin 10 of ALARM connector
Settings : connect the VCR Trigger signal to Pin 10 of ALARM connector
Connection of External Reset signal for the sequential switcher
Where to operate : Pin 11 of ALARM connector
Settings : connect the External Reset signal to Pin 11 of ALARM connector
Connection of External Reset signal for the alarms
Where to operate : Pin 11 of ALARM connector
Settings : connect the External Reset signal for the alarms to Pin 11 of ALARM connector
