To set the reception mode of the receiver ( RS232 / RS485 / Current Loop )
- jumper JP1 set to RS232 position: RS232 reception mode
- jumper JP1 set to RS485 position: RS485 reception mode
- jumper JP1 set to CLOOP position: Current Loop reception mode (default setting)
Inserting the load in the RS485 line
Where to act: Jumper JP2 e JP3
Settings:
JP2 in position A: load inserted in RS485 reception
JP2 in position B: load disconnected in RS485 reception
JP3 in position A: load inserted in RS485 transmission
JP3 in position B: load disconnected in RS485 transmission.
To set the communication rate
The DTMRX1 receiver is able to communicate with a rate of 9600 or 1200 baud.
Where to operate
: switch 8 of dip-switch SW1
Setting:

Type of lenses controlled
WARNING:
The wrong connection of the type of lenses can cause the damage of the lenses themselves.
The DTMRX1 receiver is able to control both the reversal polarity lenses and the common wire lenses. In case of
lenses working in common wire connect the common wire to FOCUS -
Connection with the control unit
The RJ11 connector supplied to the circuit enables the reception and the transmission of digital data in RS232 or
Current Loop, allowing a rapid connection of several units in case of test runs or for the connection of conversion
interfaces available on the market (RS232-optical fiber...).
For the final connection, by the DCS2 and DCMT8 keyboards, we recommend using the Current Loop mode and the
relevant terminals available on the circuit (max achievable distance: 1500m.); for the final connection, by the DCS3
keyboard, use the RS485 mode and the relevant terminals available on the circuit (max achievable distance: 1200m).
RS232: connect the cables from the command unit through the RJ jack boxes according to the following scheme:
DCS2/DCMT8

RX RS232
GND RS232
Green ------ Red
GND RS232
Current Loop: connect the cables from the command unit through the RJ jack boxes according to the following:
