3.4.2 SMS commands overview
Command Parameter Argument Description
alert
Requests the current alert configuration.
alert on
Enables alerts, and sets the alert number to
the number of the device that sent the
message (up to 5 distinct numbers could be
specified)
alert off
Disables alerts for number.
alert state on
Starting from release 2.02. Enables reporting
system state changes (on battery/AC input
power on); This will work if alerts are on.
alert state off
Starting from release 2.02. Disables
reporting system state changes (on
battery/AC input power on). This is a default
setting.
battery
Requests information about the battery.
gsm
Requests information about the GSM
network connection, including the signal
strength.
ip eth
Requests current IP settings for Ethernet
ip eth dhcp on
Enables automatic IP Configuration via
DHCP
ip eth dhcp off
Disables automatic IP Configuration via
DHCP
ip eth addr <value>
Sets the static IP address
ip eth mask <value>
Sets the subnet mask
ip eth gw <value>
Sets the default gateway
ip eth dns1 <value>
Sets the primary DNS server
ip eth dns2 <value>
Sets the secondary DNS server
log
Requests the current logging period for web
mode.
log period <period>
Sets the logging period for web mode (in
minutes).
log extra on
Starting from release 2.02.Enables sending
more data to logging webserver when
alarm/warning in VE.Bus system occurs.
log extra off
Starting from release 2.02.Disables sending
more data to logging webserver when
alarm/warning in VE.Bus system occurs.
This is the default setting.
sms
Request the amount of SMS messages sent
and the limit.
sms limit <limit>
Sets the maximum SMS messages per day
to value.
sms reset
Resets the counter to zero to allow
responses again.
vebus
Requests information about the VE.Bus
system.
vgr
Requests information about the version of
the VER.
