2. Safety instructions
● please
read this manual caref ully bef ore the product is
installed and put into use.
● This product is designed and tested in accordance with
international standards. The equipment should be used f or the
designated application only .
● Install the product in a heatproof env ironment. Ensure
theref ore that there are no chemicals, plastic parts, curtains or
other textiles, etc. in the immediate v icinity of the equipment.
● Ensure that the
equipment is used under the correct operating
conditions. Nev er operate it in a wet env ironment.
● Nev er use the product at sites where gas
or dust explosions
could occur.
● Ensure that there is alway s suf f icient free space around the
product f or v entilation.
●
Ref er to the specif ications prov ided by the manuf acturer of the
battery to ensure that the battery is suitable f or use with this
product. The battery manuf acturer's saf ety instructions should
alway s be observ ed.
●
Protect the solar modules f rom incident light during
installation, e.g. cov er them.
●
Nev er touch uninsulated cable ends.
●
Use only insulated tools.
●
Connections must alway s be made in the sequence described
in section 3.5.
● The installer of the product must prov ide a means f or cable
strain relief to prev ent the transmission of stress to the
connections.
● In addition to this manual, the sy stem operation or serv ice
manual must include a battery maintance manual applicable to
the ty pe of batteries used.
