The VNCTRL-1’s rear panel contains the following components:
Power:
A standard 3-conductor female socket.
RS-422/RS-485 Port:
A 9-pin D-shell connector for communications. A V422-CONV is required for RS-232
connection to the DVR/NVR.
Relay Port:
A 3-position terminal block used for remote Record indication (N.O./N.C.). The relay is activated
when the Kollector/NVR indicates it is in Record mode.
2-Pin Terminal Block:
For future use.
Setting the DIP Switches
The VNCTRL-1 has two (2) DIP switches. The DIP switches are accessed by removing the two (2) screws
that secure the top cover and carefully removing the cover.
Warning: Be sure to disable the AC power before removing cover to prevent installer injury and damage
to the unit.
SW1 has 8 poles and SW2 has 4 poles. The switches have the following functions:
