 Playback 

1) Setting Video Playback options 

a. Use DirectDraw 
  (Recommended & Default: DirectDraw) 
To use DirectDraw, end the program and 
restart the computer (Several types of video 
cards may not support DirectDraw) 
b. Show last video frame at the end of 
playback 
The function determines what is shown on the 
last screen at the end of playback 
(Default: Vicon logo is displayed) 
 

 

c. Video Caption Font Size 

Selects font size of the text information displayed on  
screen. The font size can be selected from 8 to 15 

points. 

(Default: 11 points) 

d. VOD File Save Folder 

Selects the location for saving file when they are 

copied at  

VOD mode. (Default: C:\) 
 

3. 

Sensor  

1) Alarm Sound Effect  
- Alarm during sensor activation 

Sounds alarm only for the duration of the 

time   

when sensors are activated on Security 

Terminal. 
- Alarm until sensor deactivation 

Sounds alarm until the sensor is 

deactivated by a  

key entry or clicking on the mouse. 

- Alarm for preset alarm time 

Sounds alarm only for the duration of a

2) Event-activated alarm 

Sounds pre-selected Wave file as an alarm when sensors are activated on 
Security Terminal. Default alarm sound is used if users do not designate a 
Wave file as an alarm sound. To select other Wave file as active alarm sound, 
use ‘Find’ to search for a desired Wave file and select the file as active alarm 
sound.
