7  Instructions for normal
operation

h

Do not use the wiper when the outside
temperature is below 0°C or in case of ice.

8  Maintaining and cleaning

8.1  Window and plastic cover
cleaning (PC)

We suggest to use neutral soap diluted with water
or specific products for lens cleaning applied with a
soft cloth.

h

Avoid ethyl alcohol, solvents, hydrogenated
hydrocarbide, strong acid and alkali. Such
products may irreparably damage the
surface.

9  Disposal of waste
materials

n

This symbol mark and recycle system
are applied only to EU countries and not
applied to the countries in the other area of
the world.

Your product is designed and manufactured with
high quality materials and components which can be
recycled and reused.
This symbol means that electrical and electronic
equipment, at their end-of-life, should be disposed of
separately from your household waste.
Please dispose of this equipment at your local
Community waste collection or Recycling centre.
In the European Union there are separate collection
systems for used electrical and electronic products.

6.1.9  Wiper system

This section describes how to connect housings fitted
with wiper systems.
For these versions it is not necessary to install any
component on the inside because they are supplied
complete with everything that is needed, depending
on the model ordered.
Open the housing as described previously and
identify terminal J1 on the circuit.

Connect terminal S, on terminal J1, to the main
supply voltage phase.

J1 Terminal

Fig. 13

Connect terminal C, on terminal J1, to the main
supply voltage neutral.
Connect terminal P, on terminal J1, to a button that,
when connected in turn to the main supply voltage
phase, will start the wiper system when pressed.
When the button is released the wiper blade will
return to the rest position.
If you have a receiver with the Wiper control function,
connect the SW, PER and COM terminals respectively
to terminals S, P and C on terminal J1.

6.1.10  Closing the housing

Take the dessicant salt bag out of its trasparent pack
and insert it into the housing. Then close the housing as
soon as possible to maintain the dessicant capability of
the salt bag.
