Coupling the
machine
The upper hitch of the machine is equipped for coupling to the drawbar
eye. To couple the implement, proceed as follows.

When coupling with the upper hitch, proceed as follows:
Before the machine is hitched, the drawbar eye must be set at the right
height for the tractor's drawhook. Proceed as follows:
Position the tractor and the machine one behind the other on firm,
level ground.
Ensure a sufficient distance between the drawbar eye and the
coupling device.
Couple the machine and secure the drawbar eye with the pin.
Lower tractor's lower links if using the upper hitch
Lower the lower links on the tractor. The lower links can come into
contact with the drawbar or the PTO shaft when cornering.
Damage to the machine may be caused as a result.

Allow sufficient space between drawbar eye and the pin
On the drawbar, make sure there is sufficient space between the
drawbar eye and the pin. If there is too little space, components
may be damaged.
Do not turn the pin coupling
Never turn the tractor's pin coupling. The machine may detach
from the tractor after hitching. Serious accidents may be caused.
