1.  These products are warranted by Style Crest to the retail consumer for 2 years against defects in materi-

als and workmanship. This warranty is transferable. A Consumer Registration Card is enclosed. Return 

of the registration card is not a requirement to obtain warranty performance but is included to enable 

Style Crest to locate consumers in the unlikely event of a product problem notification.

2.  Any defective part will be repaired or replaced on an exchange basis. Authorized Service Centers will 

be paid based on establishment warranty labor rates.

3.  The warranty duration shall be calculated as follows:

3.1  The warranty on repaired or replaced parts furnished pursuant to this warranty shall be for the 

unexpired duration of the original warranty.

3.2  If the product is installed as original equipment in a residence, the warranty period shall begin on 

the date of original purchase of the residence.

3.3  If the product is installed in a residence previously purchased by the consumer, the warranty shall 

begin on date of product’s installation in the residence.

3.4  The consumer must establish these dates by presenting legible papers at the time the warranty 

claim is made showing applicable purchase date.

4.  The consumer should proceed as follows to obtain warranty performance:

4.1  Consult The Authorized Service Center list packed with the product for the name, address and 

telephone number of the nearest Authorized Service Center. Call the nearest applicable Service 

Center and provide your appliance model number, purchase date and a brief description of the 

problem. If local authorized service cannot be obtained, please write or call: Style Crest Services, 

P. O. Box 19110, Wichita, KS 67204; (800) 231-4822. Collect calls not accepted.

4.2  All payment for in-warranty expenses shall be made to the Authorized Service Center or Service 

Dealer and not to the consumer.

5.  Exceptions and Exclusions

5.1  THERE ARE NO EXPRESS WARRANTIES EXCEPT AS SET OUT ABOVE. ALL IMPLIED WAR-

RANTIES, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS 

FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL NOT LAST LONGER THAN THE EXPRESS WARRANTY. 

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts therefore this limitation 

may not apply in your area.

5.2  THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, 

OR INCIDENTAL EXPENSES, INCLUDING DAMAGE TO PROPERTY. Some states do not allow 

exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages therefore this limitation or exclusion 

may not apply in your area.

5.3  This warranty does not cover damages caused by failure to perform normal and routine mainte-

nance as set out in the operation and service instructions provided with the product.

5.4  This warranty does not cover damage caused by mishandling, misuse, neglect, lightning, corrosive 

atmospheres, improper installation, improper application, improper fuel supply, or damage caused 

by transportation or relocation of home.

5.5  This warranty shall not apply if the nameplate is removed or defaced.
5.6  This warranty applies only to the products sold at retail in the United States.
5.7  This warranty does not cover damages or equipment failure due to the use of other than factory 

authorized parts as outlined in the parts list in the owner's manual.

5.8  This warranty does not cover products used in non-residential applications.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
