Replacing the application

NOTICE!
Loss of functionality due to improper repairs!

Improper repairs or the use of third-party components could lead to

damage and a loss of functionality. This could result in dangerous situa-

tions and serious injuries. Improper repairs invalidate the guarantee and

the manufacturer’s responsibility for any consequential damage.

Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer or by a specialist

company authorised by the manufacturer. The manufacturer does not

accept any liability for any damage that occurs as a result of improper
repairs or welding work on the Smart

Fork

®

.

– Tasks on the Smart

Fork

®

 may only be performed by a qualified electri-

cian.

– The camera cable as delivered must not be modified; shortening or

replacement is not permitted.

– Always use original components.
– Observe the safety instructions in the relevant separate instructions.

NOTICE!
Risk of explosion from defective seal!

Defective or porous seals make it possible for potential explosion gases

to escape from the flameproof enclosure and enter the outside. This

could result in dangerous situations and serious injuries.

– To ensure that the flameproof enclosure is completely sealed inside

the fork arm, a new seal must always be inserted after the cover is

opened.

NOTICE!
Risk of explosion due to damaged covers!

Damaged covers impair the safety of the system. This could result in dan-

gerous situations and serious injuries.

– The gap-forming surfaces of the covers must not be damaged or cor-

roded. If there is any damage in these areas, the fork arm is to be

taken out of service immediately.

– The ATEX polycarbonate lens serves as the front cover for the camera

interior. It is not resistant to the effects of UV radiation and must be

protected from prolonged exposure to direct sunlight.

– Parts may only be repaired or replaced after consultation with the

manufacturer.
