The service specialist has verifiably taken part in training which qualifies them to perform

the annual inspection of the fork arms as a technical expert.

The service specialist is familiar with the standards and specifications pertaining to work

in potentially explosive atmospheres and has been verifiably trained in this regard.

The service specialist is familiar with the use of the Smart

Fork

and the associated dan-

gers.

The service specialist is capable of operating industrial trucks with a driver’s seat or a

driver’s platform thanks to their education, knowledge and experience. The service spe-

cialist is aware of the dangers involved with lifting and transportation tasks.

The workforce must only consist of persons who can be expected to carry out their work

reliably. Persons with impaired reactions due to, for example, the consumption of drugs,

alcohol, or medication are prohibited.

When selecting personnel, the age-related and occupation-related regulations governing

the usage location must be observed.

2.7.2

Unauthorised persons

WARNING!
Risk to life for unauthorised persons due to hazards in the danger

and working zone!

Unauthorised persons who do not meet the requirements described here

will not be familiar with the dangers in the working zone. Therefore, unau-

thorised persons face the risk of serious injury or death.

– Unauthorised persons must be kept away from the danger and

working zone.

– If in doubt, address the persons in question and ask them to leave the

danger and working zone.

– Cease work while unauthorised persons are in the danger and working

zone.

2.7.3

Training

The operator must train personnel regularly. For purposes of improved tracking, a training

report containing the following information as a minimum requirement needs to be cre-

ated:
