The number of the type examination certificate is located on a type plate

sticker on the side of the fork back, below the hard stamping.

Fork arms for use in Ex zones must be equipped with a corresponding Ex

zone classification and may only be used together with the approved des-

ignated carrier vehicle in the Ex zones approved for the fork arm and car-

rier vehicle.

The ATEX type plate provides information about the intended deployment environment for
the Smart

Fork

®

 upon delivery and is located on the fork back underneath the hard

stamping.

The ATEX type plate contains specifications for the equipment group, equipment cate-

gory, hazard type (type of potentially explosive atmosphere) and maximum temperature

value (For further details, see
