7. Measurement positive input terminal (red probe)
8. Measurement positive input terminal (black probe)

6  Key fUnCTions anD aUTo power off

6.1 seleCT Button

The key is the resistance and capacitance measurement, buzz off

and diode test function switching key, accompanied by beep sound

when the switch prompt. (For DT16, is no capacitor switching).
In sleeping mode, press this key to wake the meter and the

automatically power-off function will be cancelled. (Only for DT-18).

6.2 relaTiVe Button

When press this button, the meter will display the current value

as a reference value, after that, the readings of measurement will

automatically subtracting this reference value. Press this button

again; the meter will exit the relative value measurement into

the normal measurement state; frequency / duty cycle measurement

has no the relative value function.

6.3 DaTa HolD Button

Press this button and the display value is locked and remained.

Press this button again, the locked state is released, and the meter

enters the normal measuring mode. For DT16, in sleeping mode,

press this button to wake the instrument and the automatically

power-off function will be cancelled.

6.4 Hz/Duty measurement

In the ACV/DCV file, press this button and convert into Hz/Duty

measurement (Press Hz/Duty button back and forth to measure the

frequency or duty cycle); After measuring the Hz/DUTY return

the DCV or ACV, the measurement range of the instrument is
