5.4 Confirm the Module Change
After connecting the sensor, you must acknowledge the change via the web interface before the sensor can be monitored.
The viewing area in the right pane displays the data in the following table. Module changes must be acknowledged before
remote management is enabled or disabled.
ELEMENT
DESCRIPTION
Module Serial Number
Displays the serial number for each listed module.
Module Type

Added
Indicates a module is connected to the rack PDU.

Table 5.2 Module Change Descriptions
To confirm the module change:
1.
From the System tab, click
Device Change
in the left pane to display a list of the added or removed PDU
components that are not acknowledged.
2.
Click the Acknowledge icon to accept the changes.
NOTE: After a module is disconnected from the rack PDU and the change is acknowledged in the Device Change
window of the System tab, the module’s information is removed from the system. If that same module is later
reinstalled, it must be reconfigured as a new module. Acknowledge the addition of the reconnected module in the
Module Changes option of the Control tab, then make other configuration changes as needed.
