LFO
The LFO generates oscillations at lower frequencies. It can modulate the following targets:
-
Pulse width of VCO 1 and VCO 2 (
see "Waveforms and pulse width" on page
50)
-
VCO 2’s pitch (
see "Pitch modulation" on page
51)
-
The filter’s cutoff frequency (
see "Cutoff modulation" on page
55).
-
The VCA, in combination with EG 2 (see "Amplifier" on page 56
respectively see "Envelope
generators" on page
57).
FREQUENCY
sets the LFO’s speed within a range of 0.05 Hz (= 20 seconds) and 100 Hz.
The
WAVE
switch sets the waveform. Available waveforms are rising and falling sawtooth (
1
,
2
),
square (
3
), triangle (
4
), sine (
5
) and random (
RND
).
LFO-reset and LFO-synchronization can be adjusted using the EDIT parameters.
LFO-reset
With EDIT parameter
[8] LFO RESET
being enabled, the LFO’s waveform will be set to zero and
restarted with each new note played on the keyboard. Carry out the following steps to do so:
1. Make sure, the ’14 Analogsynthesizer is in standard play-mode (
ARPEGGIATOR
switch
i
set to
OFF
).
2. Enter the edit mode by pressing the
[EDIT]
button – the corresponding LED will be lit.
3. Use the
select dial to select the EDIT parameter
[8] LFO RESET.
4. Pressing the
VALUE
button enables or disables the LFO Reset (
VALUE
LED lit/unlit).
5. Exit EDIT mode by pressing the
[EDIT]
button again.
