S925TX Mini Skid Steer Starting Procedure 22-5
Jump-Starting Procedure
Step 1: Turn ignition switch to OFF.
Step 2: Open engine access door (1) .
Step 3: Connect jumper cables in the following order:
a. Red to discharged battery POSITIVE (+) terminal (2) .
b. Red to boost battery POSITIVE (+) terminal (3) .
c. Black to boost battery NEGATIVE (-) terminal (4) .
d. Black to frame (5) of machine with the discharged battery. Make
connection away from battery, hydraulic lines, and moving parts.
NOTICE: To avoid sparks, disconnect black cable at point (5) before adjusting red
cable at point (2) .
Step 4: Start engine.
Step 5: Remove cables in REVERSE order and install covers over cable clamps.
Close and latch engine access door.
