Modify Basic Hotspot Settings
The Wi-Fi hotspot settings allow you to configure the following settings:
- Wi-Fi network name (SSID), name used by devices wishing to connect to the hotspot
- Network password, required password to connect to the hotspot
- 802.11 mode, wireless protocol to use
- Security mode, WPA2 Personal/PSK is currently the only security mode supported
- Maximum number of connected devices, 1 through 5
- Enable and disable broadcasting of the SSID, allows devices to scan for and see the hotspot
network name
- Channel to use, select auto to allow the module to choose the best channel
1. Log into the hotspot administrator portal.
2. Click on Hostpot Settings. Click the Wi-Fi tab.
