Receive Clock from Shelf: Use this option to indicate the DIDCSU
receives its timing signal from another card in the shelf, or from an on-
board timing source.
Note: Changing this option toggles between the shelf timing and
card timing menus.

PS
Primary Synchronization: Choose one of the following as your primary
source for clock synchronization.
• Net 1: E1 Port 1
• Net 2: E1 Port 2
• External: External clock
• Internal: Internal clock
• Data 1: Data Port 1 TT input signal
• Data 2: Data Port 2 TT input signal

Secondary Synchronization: Use this option to specify an alternate
source of timing for synchronization. If the primary source is
unavailable, this source is used.
• Net 1: E1 Port 1
• Net 2: E1 Port 2
• External: External clock
• Internal: Internal clock
• Data 1: Data Port 1 TT input signal
• Data 2: Data Port 2 TT input signal

Tertiary Synchronization: Use this option to specify an alternate source
of timing for synchronization. If the primary and secondary source are
unavailable, this source is used.
• Net 1: E1 Port 1
• Net 2: E1 Port 2
• External: External clock
• Internal: Internal clock
• Data 1: Data Port 1 TT input signal
• Data 2: Data Port 2 TT input signal

Primary Auto Restore: Select Yes to resynchronize to the clock source
automatically if a previously failed clock source becomes available
again. Otherwise, choose No. Setting up auto restore returns timing to a
higher priority source after a failure clears.

Secondary Auto Restore: Select Yes to resynchronize to the next higher
clock source automatically if a previously failed clock source becomes
available again. Otherwise, choose No. Specifying a secondary source for
clocking is useful if the primary source fails. Restoring from a secondary
source may take up to 60 seconds.
