User Guide

Chapter 2

Initial Installation

This chapter covers the software installation of the Ezlo
Secure Gateway.

Requirements

Use a standard 10/100/1000 BaseT network (UTP) cable with
RJ45 connector

Procedure

Choose an Installation Site

Select a suitable place to install the Ezlo Secure Gateway.

Connect LAN Cable

Use a standard LAN cable to connect the device to the Ethernet port on
the Ezlo Secure Gateway.

Power Up

Connect the supplied power adapter to the Ezlo Secure Gateway. Use
only the power adapter provided. Using a different one may cause
hardware damage.

Check the LEDs

• The LED should be ON.

Connect the AC Power
Adapter to your Ezlo Secure.

Connect your Ezlo Secure to
your internet gateway using
an Ethernet cable.
