8.3. Battery Replacement 

 
Replace the batteries immediately when the low-battery indicator appears (

). 

In order to avoid electroshocks, you 

should disconnect the test leads before opening the case or the battery compartment. 

 
1.  Put the selector in the OFF position. 
2.  Disconnect all test leads and/or any connectors from circuits under test. 
3.  Open the battery cover with a screwdriver and remove it. 

4.  Remove the old batteries and insert three new AAA-batteries of 1.5V
