3. BASIC DIRECTIONS
Before use: towel dry your hair to remove
excess water. Then, for best results, use a
normal brush or comb to untangle your hair
and remove any knots.
IMPORTANT: Use only on CLEAN HAIR.
Do not use on hair with any products applied
(hairspray, gel, cream, etc.).
• Plug the device into a mains socket and
adjust the temperature using the tempera-
ture setting button. Use the bottom position
(1) for fine, delicate or dyed hair, and the top
position (2) for thick, voluminous or coarse
hair. Use the cool air position to style your
hair or add definition.
3.1 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1) For best results, divide your hair into sec-
tions and dry them individually.
2) Place the device near the roots of the
section to be straightened and slide it
towards the ends. The soft, cushioned brist-
les will help untangle and smooth your hair.
3) We recommend a slow, constant move-
ment when styling thick and/or curly hair.
4) Repeat this step on the remaining sec-
tions until your hair is dry and styled.
5) Turn the device off after use and unplug it
from the mains.
Wait until it is completely cool to handle or
store it.
NOTE:
Use the Velform® Style & Dry slowly and
carefully to ensure that it does not come into
contact with the skin or scalp.
4. MAINTENANCE
Always unplug your Velform® Style & Dry
and let it cool down before cleaning it.
Never use the device under water or immer-
se the device in water. Wipe with a soft, dry
cloth to remove any debris or dust. A slightly
damp cloth can also be used with care.
Clean the device often to prevent dust and
hair from building up. Any dust or fluff that
builds up in air inlet openings can be remo-
ved with a small brush (not included).
5. STORAGE
When not in use, the device is easy to store.
Ensure it is completely cooled down befo-
re storing it. Store the device in a cool, dry
place. Keep out of reach of children. Do not
wrap the power cable around the Velform®
Style & Dry.

SERVICING DOUBLE-INSULATED
APPLIANCES:

tead of an earth wire. No earthing
means is provided on a double-in-

to a double-insulated appliance. Servicing
a double-insulated appliance requires ex-
treme care and knowledge of the system,
and should only be done by qualified service
personnel. The replacement parts for a dou-
ble-insulated appliance must be identical to
the parts they replace. A double-insulated
appliance is labelled with the words “CLASS
II” or “DOUBLE INSULATED”. It can also be
identified by the double insulation symbol.
