To test the cables in

driving mechanisms with this feature must be ordered.
These driving mechanisms allow the operation of going
from earthing switch closed to switch-disconnector open,
even when the cable compartment cover is open. Thus, the
switch-disconnector cannot be changed to the closed
position until this cover has been put back.

2.4.1
Opening operation from the earthing
position
1)
Move and hold the actuation shaft access lever in
the yellow actuation area to its lower position.
2)
Insert the handle in the earthing switch actuation
shaft and turn anticlockwise.
3)
Remove the handle. The lever returns to its original
position.
4)
Verify that the switchgear is in open position.

Switch - disconnector closing operation
from the open position (using the BR-A
driving mechanism)
1)
Move and hold the actuation shaft access lever in
the grey actuation area to its lower position.
2)
Insert the handle in the switch-disconnector
actuation shaft and turn clockwise. In the same turn,
the switch-disconnector is closed and the retaining
springs are charged.
3)
Remove the handle. The lever returns to its original
position.
4)
Verify that the switchgear is in closed position.

Opening operation from the switch -
disconnector closed position
1)
The switch can be opened manually, using the
push-button on the front of the switchgear, an
opening coil release, or due to action by the fuses.
2)
Verify that the switchgear is in open position.

Earthing operation from the open
position
1)
Move and hold the actuation shaft access lever in
the yellow actuation area to its lower position.
2)
Insert the handle in the earthing switch actuation
shaft and turn clockwise.
3)
Remove the handle. The lever returns to its original
position.
4)
Verify that the switchgear is in earthing position.
