max 2 mm play between counter-
nut and brake tube. (see fig. 5-18)
In order to unload the accelerator
linkage, the travel of the accele-
rator lever is limited by a Stop
pin.
To adjust stop pin, pull handle to
full throttle (kick-down must be
achieved), turn adjusting screw
against accelerator lever and
secure with counter nut. (see fig.
5-17) CAUTION: engine must be
turned off during adjustment!
Check linkage for free movement. Make sure that brake tube is not bent or
flexed.
ADJUSTMENT OF STOP PIN
ADJUSTMENT OF BRAKE LINKAGE
After adjustment, check if linkage
moves freely!
When adjusting the brake linkage, make sure that the accelerator lever is in
sternmost position, in order to achieve the full brake power.
ACHTUNG!
Always adjust brake linkage while engineis running!

Adjustment of the brake linkage has to be done with utmost care!
Inaccurate adjustment may lead to damage in the car´s braking system.
Inaccurate adjustment may cause reduced brake force.
