Error Reason Remedy
An available periphe-
ral device (printer,
drawer, external hard
disk etc.) does not
work. The cable for the peri-
pheral device is
• connected to the
wrong port
• not connected.
Check the correct fit
of cables (see fig. 10)
and the correct fit
of plugs in port and
device.
The driver software is
not installed. Please contact your
Vectron dealer.
The VPOS-software is
not installed correctly. Please contact your
Vectron dealer.
The peripheral device
is faulty. Please contact your
Vectron dealer.
The system gets slo-
wer. Many applications are
opened simultaneous-
ly, which require a lot
of resources. Close the applications
that are not required.
Data on the hard disk
is fragmented. Carry out a defrag-
mentation (see chap-
ter 11.5).
Superfluous files
cover memory on the
hard disk. Carry out a disk
cleanup (see chapter
11.5).
