9.1. Star ting the operating system
In the following the operating system Windows XP Pro-
fessional is loaded. After the boot is finished you see the
desktop of the operating system.
Status messages may occur — i.e. information about antivi-
rus software or updates — in the lower right corner of the
screen, which you can handle in your opinion.
Note
The software configuration as well as the administration
of Windows access rights requires detailed knowledge.
This is therefore incumbent on your specialised Vectron
dealer, who will prepare it according to your demands.
Depending on the setting there may be individual devia-
tions.
In case of service or further questions please contact your
Vectron dealer. He will be glad to assist you.
9. 2. Star ting the program Vectron POS PC
Per default the program Vectron POS PC starts after swit-
ching on the device so that you can use it as soon as the
loading is completed.
Should it be necessary to start the program manually,
touch the icon <Vectron POS PC> twice with a finger. The
program is started.
