If Auto Standby is switched on, VD-R will automatically turn to stand-by
after a recording has been made.
REC Key Management
The REC button can either be set as a shortcut to Instant Recording or
Recording Manager. If it is a shortcut to Instant Recording, Recording starts
immediately when it is pressed. And if it is a shortcut to REC Management, the
Recording settings can be modified once it is pressed.
5.3 Channel
5.3.1 DTV Auto Search
After entering DTV Auto Search, VD-R will begin scanning for DTT channels.
Frequency range from 474MHz to 858 MHz will be scanned. Press the Exit button
to quit the Main Menu when scanning is done. The scanned channel will be
broadcast automatically.
5.3.2 DTV Manual Search
After entering DTV Manual Search, enter the desired frequency channel
and then press “Start”,VD-R will list the number and details of channels
found.
5.3.3 ATV Manual Search
It starts at frequency 47MHz and pauses when the first channel is scanned
for the fine-tuning of picture quality. The process then resumes and switches
to auto mode in order to speed up the process.
