2. In
the
‘Options’ dialog box, click the Calibrate Lamp(s)
button. If the system is in the ‘Ready’ state, the ‘Calibrate
Lamps’ dialog box (refer to Figure 32) will appear. If the
system is in the ‘Not Ready’ state, a message will appear
stating that the system must be in the ‘Ready’ state.

3. Ensure that all the conditions outlined in the ‘Calibrate
Lamps’ dialog box are satisfied, then click Yes to proceed.
The ‘Calibrate Lamps Confirmation’ dialog box (refer to
Figure 33) will appear.

4. Select
the
Calibration Request Confirmed check box, then
click OK. The lamp calibration will then be performed. The
process may take several minutes.
NOTE:
The procedure for performing a lamp calibration in the Galaxie
Chromatography Workstation software is similar to that outlined above.
