Warranty conditions
Warranty conditions:
The warranty period of the product and its accompanying accessories is
24 months
from the date of sale to the purchaser, unless specified otherwise in the
“
Service logbook for machines and VARI sets with HONDA engines.
” The period from application of the right of liability for defects until the period
when the user is obligated to pick up the product is not included in the warranty period.
The retailer is obligated to issue a confirmation to the purchaser of when the claim was filed as well as a confirmation of the repair performed and on its time
of duration. If the product is exchanged, then the warranty begins anew from the date the new product is received. If an installation unit is exchanged, the
warranty period of the given installation unit again begins anew from the date of receipt of the product.
Manufacturer’s extent of liability:
The manufacturer is liable for ensuring that the product shall, for the entire duration of the warranty period, possess the properties that are generally
available for the respective type of product and the specified parameters. The manufacturer shall not bear any liability of product defects caused by regular
wear or use of the product for a different purpose than for which it was designed.
Warranty disclaimer:
The right to warranty repair is discharged if:
a)
The product was not used and maintained according to the operating manual or it was damaged by any unauthorized tampering of the use.
b)
The product was used in different conditions or for different purposes than for which it was designed
c)
A receipt for the purchase of the product is not provided
d)
The intentional overwriting of information specified by the manufacturer, retailer, or service organization occurs in the original product
documentation
e)
A particular part of the product was substituted with a non-original component
f)
Damage to the product or excessive wear was caused by insufficient maintenance
g)
The product crashed or was damaged by a force majeure
h)
The product was modified without the consent of the manufacturer
i)
Defects were caused by unauthorized storage of the product
j)
Defects were caused by natural or regular wear and tear of the product
k)
The prescribed product warranty inspection was not performed within the specified term (applies only to products with an extended warranty
period). Warranty inspections according to conditions specified in the “Service logbook for machines and VARI sets with HONDA engines” must be
performed for selected product with an extended warranty period
l)
The product was connected or operated with equipment that was not approved by the manufacturer
m)
The warranty is non-transferable to a second owner
Filing a claim:
A claim is filed by the purchaser at the retailer. When filing a claim, the purchaser is obligated to submit a properly completed warranty card and purchase
receipt. Warranty repairs are performed by the retailer or its authorized service centres.
Laws:
Other relations between customer and dealer follow appropriate provisions of the legal regulations according to national legislation in the country of sale.
