Turning on/off the Device
Having set up IBOX3588 according to the aforementioned steps, users can turn on/off the
device following the steps below:
1.
Connect the host computer/touch monitor to a power source that conforms to its
rating, and turn it on;
2.
Connect IBOX3588 to a live electrical outlet that provides 12V/24V voltage;
3.
Short press the ON/OFF button and wait a few seconds;
4.
The device will launch the operating system selected by the customer.
After IBOX3588 starts up, users can:
1.
Press the ON/OFF button once to turn off the display;
2.
Press the ON/OFF button and hold for 2 seconds to call the power menu, and click
Power off
to turn off the device orderly;
3.
Press the ON/OFF button and hold for about 5 seconds to turn off the device directly;
4.
When necessary, unplug the power adapter from the power connector of IBOX3588
or the outlet to force shutdown.
The actions might vary with the operating system.

First-time Setup Guide (applicable to Android OS)
Follow the setup wizard to finish the device setup for the first-time use.
1.
Choose a system language and click
START
for device setup;
2.
Connect the Device to a Wi-Fi network or skip the step and continue without
connecting to a network;
3.
Set the date and time;
4.
Enable
Google services
as needed;
5.
Set a PIN code for screen unlock;
6.
Customize more system settings from the
Settings
application.
