powered/have the same state as at the time of shutdown
(within 1-4 seconds) while the display unit takes longer to
boot up. (20s or so).
7.11.10 Electrical Faults
7.11.10.1 Device Faults
The system permanently monitors the pins for short circuits

7.11.10.2 Low Voltage Alerts
There are two low-voltage level alarms, one is for the engine
running and one without. Typically, the battery voltage will
be 12.5 volts without the alternator/engine running, and
around 13.8 volts with the engine/alternator running.
If the bus voltage drops below a configured level for at least
10 seconds, then a low voltage alarm is triggered and the
battery displayed in yellow.
An alternator failure is normally detected by a low voltage
condition. The low voltage alarm however will not
automatically initiate the alternator failure emergency or an
electrical load shed. These events must be initiated by the
pilot.
7.11.10.3 Over Voltage Condition
The VP-200 detects when an over-voltage condition exists
