Tips

•  Wear gloves or ensure to manipulate the cast iron 

pieces with clean hands to avoid any stain.

•  Remove the MF28 window and all items inside 

the appliance before installing to lighten it.

Basic Installation Sequence

•  Convert vent outlet if necessary.
•  Assemble front engine brackets to side panels
•  Assemble rear panel to engine.
•  Assemble side panel to engine.
•  Assemble lower bracket to engine.
•  Assemble other side panel to engine.
•  Place appliance in fi nal position.
•  Install heat shield to engine.
•  Place cast top panel on engine.
•  Rear outlet only: Install cast vent cover.
•  Top outlet only: Install vent collar.
•  Level appliance with leveling screws.
•  Install inlay panels.
•  Install access door.
•  Prepare appliance for venting.
•  Vent and gas fi t heater.
•  Install fan (blower) if used.
•  Install fuel bed, check appliance and complete 

installation as per instructions supplied with engine.

•  Install barrier screen on back of front
•  Hook front and barrier screen.
