3.13 Wirefeeder Drive Roller Pressure Adjustment

, the conduit line

should be
checked fo

clogging f

om metal flakes. If this is not the cause of slipping, the feed
r
oll p

essu
r
e can be
inc

eased by
r
otating the Tension Adjusting knob clockwise. The use of excessive p
r
essu
r
e may cause
r
apid wea
r
of
the feed
r
olle
r
, moto
r
shaft and moto
r
bea
r
ings.
NOTE
Genuine Valley National Gases contact tips and line
r
s should be used. Many non-genuine line
r
s use infe
r
io
r
mate
r
ials which can cause wi
r
e feed p
r
oblems.
3.14 Wire Reel Hub Brake

nback into the contact tip.
