OTA-BP-E-63 (Washington, DC: U.S. Gove r nment P r inting Office, May
1989): “...the r e is now a ve r y la r ge volume of scientific findings based
on expe r iments at the cellula r level and f r om studies with animals and
people which clea r ly establish that low f r equency magnetic fields
inte r act with, and p r oduce changes in, biological systems. While most
of this wo r k is of ve r y high quality, the r esults a r e complex. Cu rr ent
scientific unde r standing does not yet allow us to inte r p r et the evidence
in a single cohe r ent f r amewo r k. Even mo r e f r ust r ating, it does not yet
allow us to d r aw definite conclusions about questions of possible r isk
o r to offe r clea r science-based advice on st r ategies to minimize o r
avoid potential r isks.”

2. A rr ange cables to one side and away f r om the ope r ato r .
3. Do not coil o r d r ape cable a r ound the body.

body as p r actical.
