5.3.3 Connecting the remote control
The remote control included in the scope of delivery of the
VED is connected to the VED at the factory. You have the
option of connecting up to three further remote controls of
the same type (article number: 0020084761) at a time to
the VED.

The following description of how to connect the
remote control requires the operational readi-
ness of the remote control (batteries inserted
and casing sealed closed). Section 3.1.1 of the
operating instructions describes how to insert
the batteries.

The VED's remote control (article number:
0020084761) works in exactly the same way as
the VED's display. The buttons on the remote
control and the way in which it is operated are
identical to the electronicVED exclusive electric
instantaneous water heater.
To connect the remote control to the VED, you must set
certain parameters on the remote control and on the VED.
