Components of the electronicVED exclusive
3.2 Functions
Using bare wire heating in the unit's heating block, drinking
water is heated and can then be drawn from one or more
points. The electronics measure the temperature of the cold
water supply and the water volume flow. The electrical per-
formance required to heat the water to the required tem-
perature is calculated using these two values. The unit's dis-
play temperature can be changed in increments of 0.5 °C.
The volume and heat of the hot water is dependent on the
electronicVED exclusive performance category and settings.
The output of each VED unit is listed in section 11. In addi-
tion, the water and energy consumption data can be linked
to the performance data via the display. This means that
the electronicVED exclusive can be configured in such a
way that both the current and cumulative energy consump-
tion can be displayed and called up. The built-in "Memo"
function allows four fixed temperatures to be saved and
these can be called up by pressing a button or by remote
control.
