NOTE!
All basic adjustments must be carried out with the Rapid drill on a level surface, with the
wing sections lowered and with the drill hitched to a tractor.
2.1 Tractor
To reduce damaging soil compaction, the tractor in use during sowing should be fitted with extra
wide tyres, e.g. twin tyres or similar. Aim for as low an inflation pressure as possible. Any front
end weights on the tractor should be removed.
Two two-way hydraulic connectors are required. If the seed drill is equipped with a hydraulic fan,
a third hydraulic connector and a separate no-pressure return entry are required.
The return inlet will be installed according to the tractor manufacture's instruction. Female socket
is delivered with the machine.
If the machine is equipped with a hydraulic top rod, one more two-way hydraulic connector is re-
quired.
