The upgrade kit PC 8 allows the mounting of either the Chemistry-
HYBRID pump RC 6 or the chemistry diaphragm pump MD 12C / MV
10C.

Consequently, the upgrade kit contains parts that are
not
needed in
individual cases.
Attention:
If the HYBRID pump RC 6 contains oil, take
great care not to tilt the pump to an angle that would allow
oil to make its way into the filter element.

Lay the pump on its side: if installing with diaphragm pump MD 12C /
MV 10C, the rating plate of the pump has to be on top, if installing the
HYBRID pump RC 6, the oil mist filter must be on top (support pump
appropriately).
Note that to install the console, the exhaust waste vapor condenser
and the collecting flask must be on top.

Remove the shock absorbers from the pump’s feet and install the shock
absorbers which have male threads at both ends. The original shock
absorbers are secured with adhesive to prevent them from working
loose.

Push the console over the threaded shock absorbers. Note that there
are two sets of bores for the two different pump types.
