5 Care and maintenance
Do not damage the grease filter.
Cleaning
▸ Clean the grease filters and combi filters on their own in an upright position
in a dishwasher.
▸ Set the dishwasher to an «intensive» – or «heavy» soiling – wash pro-
gramme.
Cleaning may cause the grease filters to become discoloured. This
will not affect the functioning of the filters in any way.
If no dishwasher is available:
▸ Clean the grease filters and combi filters with hot water and detergent.
▸ Then soak the filters in hot water and detergent in the sink for about 2 hours
and finally clean with a washing-up brush.
Do not damage the metal mesh of the combi filters.
Installing the grease filter and combi filters
▸ Insert the combi filter in the flat deflector plate into the slots.
▸ Fold down the grip.
▸ Swing the combi filter up and engage in position.
90 cm model:
55 cm / 60 cm model:
▸ Insert the grease filters into the
holder.
▸ Insert the holder into the slots at the
back and raise and engage in posi-
tion at the front.
▸ Insert the grease filters into the
slots at the side.
▸ Fold down the grip.
▸ Swing the grease filters up and engage in position.
▸ With the appliance switched off, depress the
button for 5 seconds to re-
set the saturation indicator.
