1. COM Fire, COM Start and COM Response are normally closed, and    open when activated.   
2. COM Fault is normally open and closed when activated.   

Chapter 4 Installation and Commissioning 

4.1 Unpacking and Inspecting 

Open  the  package  carefully  not  to  damage  the  control  panel.  Check  the  items  against  the  packing  list.  Check 
internal  configuration  and  connection  of  different  parts.  Then  inspect  the  appearance  of  the  control  panel.  If  a 
problem is found, solve it as soon as possible and then install the control panel.   

4.2 Installation   

Mounting dimension is shown as Fig. 3-2.   

4.3 Wiring Requirements 

◇ 

Wiring  for  terminals  inside  the  cabinet:  all  wires  should  be  peeled  0.5cm  and  tinned  or  clipped  before 

connecting into the cabinet. 

◇ 

Control Output Cable:   
Conductor

1.0 mm

or above copper conductor, withstand voltage≥ 250V

twisted pair.   

Cable

0.75 mm

or above copper cable

withstand voltage≥ 250V.   

Total resistance of cable

50Ω

otherwise increase the cross section of the cable.

Conduit Pipe: The cable should be installed in a individual conduit pipe, and be away from others cables such 

as power line, lighting cable, AC cable, CCTV cable, VA cable etc. 

◇ 

Wiring in cable shaft: The loop wires should be installed in a respective metal sink, away from those wires 

such as power line, lighting cable, CCTV cable etc, the parallel distance between    the loop wite and other power 
supply lines should be further than 500mm. 

◇ 

Connectors:  all  connectors  for  wiring  should  be  welded  or  crimped  and  sealed  by  isolated  sleeves  to  avoid 

short circuit and current leaking. 

4.4 Check of Control Panel 

When the control panel is installed in the field, turns on the power and do the functional checks at first, including

Observe if the LEDs and sections of LCDs are lit and the loudspeaker gives a resonant sound.
