[D] “light/set”
activates the display backlight, and during adjustments it
decreases the value you are changing

The metallic contact on the left side of the computer is there to
contact
tell Xtender that you have entered the water, and has no specifi c
function on the surface except to interface the dive computer
with a PC.
BASIC WATCH USE
When using Xtender on the surface, it will be in watch mode; it returns to this
mode after each adjustment operation and 5 minutes after the end of each dive
(Fig. 1).
