Maintenance / cleaning
Exhaust filter (polyester) cleaning and
maintenance (optional)
We recommend that you clean the washable polyester filter
if you notice a reduction in the suction performance. You
should inspect the filter once a month in order to keep it
always clean and ready for maximum performance.
To inspect the filter, proceed as follows:
Access the sound-proofing casing positioned below the
machine (fig. 14).
Loosen the central fixing screw (fig. 15).
Remove the casing from its seat (fig. 17).
Take the polyester exhaust filter and clean it under cold
running water to remove any residue. Allow the filter to
air-dry.
Put the filter back into place, the sound-proofing casing
back into its seat, and tighten the fixing screws.
If, after long periods of use, the filter is torn or damaged re-
place it with a new filter (only available from our authorised
customer care centres).
WARNING:
Cleaning the filter
Both reservoirs are protected from contamination by
a filter.
If you need to clean the filters, rinse them thoroughly
with plenty of hot water and a neutral cleaning agent.
