If you use DOS 6.0's DoubleSpace program,
you may want to do the following before
running any fax software.
1.
Open the Windows SYSTEM.INI file.
2.
Add the following line under the [386 Enh]
header:
EMMEXCLUDE=C800-D1FF
When you are finished, reboot your computer.
If You Are Running DOS 6.0 or
Higher
You may want to run the MEMMAKER DOS
program before you run your fax software.
Run the program MEMMAKER.EXE from
the DOS directory prompt. This program
loads all of your Terminate and Stay Resident
(TSR) programs in the most efficient order.
NOTE:
Type VER at the DOS prompt
if you are unsure which version of DOS
you are using.
