GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Ref. 1067/002A is the interface that allows to connect the 1067/024, 1067/032A, and 1067/052A units to
the regular PSTN telephone network in order to both send alarm signals and receive commands remotely.
It can be used also in association with the GSM 1067/458 module. The PSTN interface is equipped with
in/out terminal box for the telephone line and one yellow LED that signals if the telephone line is engaged.
The interface is able to perform a test of the telephone line and to report any faults or malfunctions (see the
"PSTN line test" paragraph in the 1067 series control panel programming manual).

In this document, just a number of basic indications on the product are present.
Refer to the manuals of 1067 units for further, more detailed information.
ENTERING THE UNIT
NOTE
:
Before opening, the unit open the maintenance process in order to avoid the sirens to sound.
WARNING:
The telephone interface must be connected when the unit is not powered (both network and
battery are disconnected).
ASSEMBLY OF THE BOARD
To assemble the PSTN communicator board, insert the header connector in the special connector of the
mother board and Tighten the plastic nuts included to the support spacers through the holes present on the
mother board.
