3.0 Clearances to Combustibles:
Minimum clearance distance between a combustible ceiling and the firebox or burner must be no less than
2000mm
WARNING: Under no circumstances should any object such as people, pets, furniture, clothing etc be closer
than 1000mm in front of the fireplace.
4.0 Wall cladding around fire:
4.1 The temperature of a wall directly above the heater does get hot and hence may discolour certain exterior
paint finishes.
4.2 Some exhaust stains may also become visible directly above the fire due to exhaust of products of
combustion. In this mainly unlikely event, stains can be cleaned off with water, detergent and a brush. LPG
operation is more likely to stain due to the comosition of the gas itself.
5.0 Minimum installation height:
There should be clearance of at least 230mm between the base of the vessel and the top surface.
