13.4 Placing optional ceramic pebbles.
Only use specialist decorative pebbles supplied by Urban Fires. It is NOT PERMISSABLE to use real pebbles
or stones as there is a danger of explosion.
13.5 In case case of firebowl, use this layout (right)
having placed black or white Crystaight gas media, the
pebbles may be placed randomly using the medium
and large size pebbles to cover the burner and the
smaller pebbles around the edge and to fill in any gaps.
13.6 In the case of a firepit (right) having laid one layer
of Crystalight, seperate the large, medium and
small pebbles.
13.7 Start by placing the larger pebbles around the
burner, taking care not to block the pilot light or
impinge on the cross-lighting process.
13.8 Then place the medium-size pebbles in between
the large pebbles and on the berner itself. Again, taking
care not to block the pilot light or impinge on the
cross-lighting process.
13.9 Lay the smaller pebbles (below right) filling as
many gaps as possible, again taking care not to block
the pilot light or impinge on the cross-lighting process.
13.10 Following the remote control pairing and then
lighting instructions (Section 14) to light the fire and
ensure good cross-lighting by re-arranging pebbes
if necessary.
